So I have been browsing style.com the past week or so and I'm just thoroughly disappointed with the "spread", so to speak.

Outside of Erin Fetherston's line, nothing really struck me as interesting. I thought the little heart belts were really cute. I want.
(Okay I lied, I liked Behnaz Serafour too)

Marc Jacob's show was pretty disappointing. I'm not quite sure what was up with the vintagey looking bras over the clothes or the abundance of outfits that appeared as if someone vomited ruffles all over them and called it "high fashion". I liked a few pieces from the Fall 09 show (minus the hideous, pink Frankenstein jacket) but this one was pretty fail. I just don't see where any of it was at all marketable. If I was a buyer for a department store that carried his stuff I'd be like, "Oh...fuck my life..." right about now.

Victoria Beckham's stuff was pretty lackluster. It wasn't horrible by any means, and pretty clean and basic line wise. Classic silohouettes and all that. But it's just--been done before? I didn't see anything about it that struck me as unique. You know, like when you see a Diane Von Furstenberg dress, you know it's her dress. It all just seemed very run of the mill looking. I dunno, playing it safe never hurts I guess.

Harem pants were still in full swing. Get used to them ladies.

Sooooo, it fucking REEKS in our building. I don't know wtf it is, but it smells disgusting and it's getting worse. Like some weird mixture of old food and crappy air freshener used to cover it up.

I think one of our neighbors died or something. Seriously. It smells THAT bad. We thought it was our trash, but we took it out and it still smells. The hallway smells and the smell is worse by the open window near the kitchen.

It is making me dry heave. It's everywhere omg why ><

Seriously, has anyone smelled a dead body? Cause I googled and it's kinda like terrible stink mixed with this weird sweeter smell and that's kinda what I'm smelling at least.

Pleated pants are going to be back with a vengeance. Judging by the Ready-to-Wear collections that are being posted for Fall 2009 everyone is doing the damn things.

Why? I don't know. Because pleats on hips are entirely unflattering to most women. Most women are pear shaped. Adding extra fabric to hips, only makes said woman appear larger. I don't know any women who want to look larger, so the idea is beyond me personally.

I for one am not pleased.

Pleated pants belong on 60 year old Catholic school teachers who are using their belts as a secondary bra. Not 20 year olds. Eugh.

Although, on the plus side, it looks like the coveted Nazi uniform pants is back as well! These pants aren't just for Tm Cruise and his movie-making cohorts anymore. No! You too, can now own these most sylish of coverings for your lower extremities.

Not sure what are neighbors are doing but the noise they're making woke me up.

Anyways, I took some pictures while bored at work (oops) and decided to play with Photoshop a bit. I'm quite proud of myself.

I did not utilize the blur tool to achieve this either. Which makes me more proud.

Also been thinking about taking daily photos of the shit I wear. Sometimes I have cute outfits but lately I've been throwing things together from whatever I find on the floor first. Needs to stop. Time to look decent again I think.

So I just had a vanilla yogurt explode on me when I opened it.

I ripped the music from the live concert, then made the instrumental from that, and then added the lines I had from people. I'm really pleased with how it came out.

I'm only upset that my shitty mic kills the quality.

Oh and omg, they finally got this up(not sure why I said finally because it's still out before the actual single). We rocked this shit. I'm singing Eri's (oshiete hoshii in bridge 1--aishitai in bridge 2--2nd solo in the next chorus) lines if anyone cares.

The weather was starting to clear up, sun peaking through the breaks in the grey clouds overhead. The teen-aged boy dug his hands further into his pockets and sunk deeper into his charcoal grey hoodie, all the while cursing his luck. He maneuvered around several pot holes and remnants of puddles as he made a beeline for the closest indoor space, a small diner across the street. The sun set in about half an hour, he could bear the company of townsfolk until then.

So changes galore mostly. I'm kinda just starting from scratch haha.
The things I do while sitting at home alone.

Obviously, this is a really rough start. I've only proof read it once and added and taken out and the flow is a bit sloppy at this point. But anyways:

“Seats 22-40 now boarding.”

Bella Swann stared sadly at her mother, Renee, from her seat at the airport terminal, clutching her arm rests and taking a deep breath before she stood. Her mother swept her up into a hug, which Bella returned realizing this was likely the last time she’d hug her mother. Renee reached out gently fixed a stray piece of unruly brown hair on her daughter's head, smoothed it down and took one last look at her daughter. She wasn’t quite sure when her daughter had become so grown up. It seemed as if just yesterday her little girl was learning to ride her bike, or put on makeup and now she was all the sudden this young woman, moving across the country without her.

Obviously, if this shit is just as bad as the original, I'm stopping. But I do think it's marginally better. And not in first person, 'cause I want to avoid the whole Mary Sue thing. Actually it's really weird. I keep wanting to write Bella like if she were Jen haha--the clutzy thing and the old car always reminded me of you. Quincey ;___;

Oh and I slept all day again--wtf. I slept like 18 hours.

So, Jen and I were discussing today, how we'd re-write Twilight.

Honestly, I think the basis is really good, but she just kinda failed entirely at executing it.

Things we discussed:

--Giving Edward a personality. Decided he'd be far more interesting as a lonely, cynical, sarcastic sort of guy, who's generally only nice out of pity or because he finds it amusing for one reason or another. Not because he is nice, or a gentlemen. If you spent that long by yourself, while everyone around you paired off you'd be a cynical bastard. Especially someone who's so bent out of shape about what they are.

--Giving Bella a personality. And the ability to think for herself. And honestly, I think at some point, Bella should "die". None of the Renesme crap, there's so much foreshadowing about her wanting to sacrifice herself and it's never brought to fruition. So, I think it makes way more sense for her to you know, stand up and do something. BE a strong female character and not let the men in her life rule what she is or isn't doing.

--Creating decent backgrounds for characters like Emmett. Mauled by a bear wtf. We decided it'd be way cooler had he died in WWII, Carlisle was a doctor so he happened to be over there. On that note, we decided having them actually you know, go to war would be cool.

--Carlisle and Esme. Needs to be more kinda...messed up. Like, some sort of weird plot twist with the death of her child that caused her to kill herself. We haven't figured it out entirely, but decided that Carlisle knew her beforehand, and his knowing her played a part in her suicide/the death of her child. Since he was so against what he was, we thought it was weird he turned all these people into vampires more or less on whims. Thought there needed to be more motivation behind it. Like seeing a woman he cared for dying because of him and thus there's a moment of weakness.

--Edward and Carlisle relationship more older brother/younger brother. Less father/son. I don't really think it works as a fatherly relationship. They're so close in "real" age and they spent so much time together I don't think father works.

--Bella leaves her mother because she finds the new arrangement awkward. Her mom is kinda flakey with men, and Phil is kind of a dick. So, she decides to move in with her dad, who's always been pretty chill. Cause hey, Charlie is cool.

--Rosalie's father would not have been a banker. That doesn't even make sense how they'd be "okay" during an economic depression if her father was a banker. Bankers were some of the hardest hit people.

--Emmett's name. It has to go.

--Alice's past. Lots of room for expansion there. But it's never done. Someone in her position wouldn't blow off a lot of what's said.

--Initial attractions. Has nothing to do with "scent". Rather, Bella looks like Edward's old gf from back before he was a vampire. So instead of smell, it'd be more like he's infatuated with finding out more about this girl that's uncannily similar to his old gf--the only girl he ever really felt anything for. I think it adds a bit of fucked up realism this relationship so desperately needs.

--Werewolves are retarded. They are also going. Jen suggested "Indian mysticism" but I'm not so sure how that'd work out. Maybe just some sort of weird lore involving some weird creature the Indians call something else but is essentially a vampire?

Alex, Amie and Travis are coming to visit soon. I am excited!

The past few days of crampy sick feelings were not fun.

Then, you show up three days late (inciting mild panic from me about possibly having come down with a case of immaculate conception) and when you do show up, it's right before leaving for work. I take two Tylenol to be safe, however, mid way through my shift you decide to be a whore and kick in full force. Thus, I am reduced to shuffling around while my insides feel like someone's squeezing my uterus into pulp.
